I certainly cannot fault Jeremy for making the most of Kayla's lack of understanding, or his decision to become Lacy's bestie rather than besmirching the reputation of his crush in an effort which would not ensure he'd benefit from her new-found "looseness", (after all, even nympho-hotties don't do geeks!).
I hate to do it, Kayla, but it seems that you transposed the names of "Kayla" and "Lacy" in the last paragraph. If he was switching with Kayla, Lacy would not have "stepped into her chamber..." (of his machine). That aside, I do like your choice of becoming the lez-be-friend of your crush!
